Parking information
The apartment comes with a private parking space accessible from the street. The assigned spot is the second one from the left. Please make sure to park only as shown in the photo and not in any other areas of the lot, as those spaces belong to other properties.
Entrance
The building entrance door is located next to the parking area, just after the small wooden bridge.
To reach the apartment, go down three floors. The doorbell is labeled VECCHIONE CARULLO.
House policies.
It is essential to read the following carefully to ensure a peaceful and pleasant stay.
- The main guest must be at least 18 years old.
- Guests must keep the accommodation in good condition and use it carefully and lawfully. At the end of the rental period, guests must leave the accommodation in conditions that, once cleaned by our staff, it is immediately habitable for subsequent tenants. Costs for repairs and maintenance to the premises or furnishings caused of wrong use of the premises, will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the registered credit card.
- Guests must dispose of all waste generated during their stay in a lawful and legal manner, as explained later in the guide.
- No pets may be brought into the property or its surroundings without the express consent of Canguro Italy Srl.
- Sub-letting the property is prohibited.
- Number of guests must be the one indicated at the time of booking and no extra people are permitted to reside or sleep at the property.
- It is prohibited to wash the provided linens and towels.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation. Any costs incurred for washing smoke-soaked curtains or upholstery will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the registered credit card.
- It is not permitted to organize parties or events of any kind inside the accommodation without the express consent of Canguro Italy Srl. It is also mandatory to respect the quiet hours from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- Never close the main security door.
- Guests must turn off lights and electronics and dispose of waste upon check-out.

Washer and Dryer

Washer
1. Open the door and insert the detergent capsule and the laundry into the drum.
2. Select the program by turning the knob (1).
3. Press the Start/Pause button (2).
Dryer
1. Insert the laundry into the drum, turn the knob (1) to choose the drying program.
2. Press the Start/Pause button (2).
Dishwasher
Located in the kitchen.
- Place the detergent or tablet in the designated compartment and close the lid. Use only dishwasher detergent.
- Press the ON/OFF button (1), the AUTO program button (2) and the START button (3).
Combined microwave/traditional oven
Located in the kitchen.
- Turn on the oven using button 1.
- Use buttons 2 to operate the microwave at different power levels, or press button 3 to use the traditional oven, selecting the desired heating mode.
Heating.
The heating is centralized. To set the desired temperature, use the two thermostats: one is located on the wall to the right of the stairs, and the other is in the tavern room.
- Swipe on the panel to access the temperature setting screen,
- then tap the “up” and “down” buttons to increase or decrease the temperature.
Waste sorting.
In Cortina d’Ampezzo there are very strict roules for waste collection. Please follow the instructions below carefully:
1. Separate waste into the appropriate categories and put it in the relevant bags, which must then be sealed; it is not permitted to dispose of loose waste except paper, cardboard, glass and cans:
- Dry waste - plastic bag
- Food/organic waste - transparent biodegradable bag
- Paper, cardboard - without bag
- Plastic - blue bag
- Glass, cans - without bag
2. Take the waste to the small house located on the access road to the apartment near the parking. You will find some colored bins.
3. Place the waste in the appropriate bin, paying close attention.
Waste collection companies conduct frequent inspections. Incorrect dispose of garbage is subject to very high fines; any fine for non-compliant differentiation will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the registered credit card.
Electrical panel.
In the event of a power failure, first thing to do is to turn off all appliances that were in operation (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven) and check the electrical panel located next to the entrance. Check that all switches are in the ON position (upwards); otherwise, pull them all up to the ON position.
If this procedure does not work, you will need to access the main electrical meter located in the shared stairwell: go down to the lowest floor, and you will find the meters on the right. The apartment’s meter is labeled Tonelli Federico. In this case as well, the switches should be
flipped upwards.
