The doorbell facing the street has the name SPERTI.
Parking information
A non-exclusive car park is available along the access road to the apartment;
alternatively, there is a car space at the beginning of the road.
It is strictly forbidden to drive towards the building and park just in front of the entrance.
House policies.
It is essential to read the following carefully to ensure a peaceful and pleasant stay.
- The main guest must be at least 18 years old.
- Guests must keep the accommodation in good condition and use it carefully and lawfully. At the end of the rental period, guests must leave the accommodation in conditions that, once cleaned by our staff, it is immediately habitable for subsequent tenants. Costs for repairs and maintenance to the premises or furnishings caused of wrong use of the premises, will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the registered credit card.
- Guests must dispose of all waste generated during their stay in a lawful and legal manner, as explained later in the guide.
- No pets may be brought into the property or its surroundings without the express consent of Canguro Italy Srl.
- Sub-letting the property is prohibited.
- Number of guests must be the one indicated at the time of booking and no extra people are permitted to reside or sleep at the property.
- It is prohibited to wash the provided linens and towels.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation. Any costs incurred for washing smoke-soaked curtains or upholstery will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the registered credit card.
- It is not permitted to organize parties or events of any kind inside the accommodation without the express consent of Canguro Italy Srl. It is also mandatory to respect the quiet hours from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- Never close the main security door.
- Guests must turn off lights and electronics and dispose of waste upon check-out.

Washer/Dryer
Located in the kitchen.
- Open the door and insert the detergent capsule and the laundry into the drum.
- Select the program by turning the knob (1). The programs at the top left are for drying.
- Press Start/Pause button (2).
- At the end of the wash cycle, to dry , turn the knob and choose one of the three programs at the top left. Press Start/Pause button (2).
Dishwasher
Located in the kitchen.
- Place the detergent or tablet in the designated compartment and close the lid. Use only dishwasher detergent.
- Press the ON/OFF button (1).
- Press the button (2) until the display shows program P1.
- Close the door to start the dishwasher.
Heating.
Each room is equipped with a thermostat to regulate the heating temperature. It is recommended not to set a temperature higher than 22 degrees as the system will block due to overload.
Gas cylinders.
The kitchen stove is powered by gas supplied by cylinders placed in a wooden compartment on the living room terrace. The compartment contains two cylinders, one in use and one as a backup. If the gas in the cylinder in use runs out, open the cylinder compartment and proceed as follows:
- close the cylinder in use by turning the relative knob clockwise,
- open the backup cylinder by turning the relative knob counterclockwise,
- contact us to purchase a new backup cylinder.
Waste sorting.
In Cortina d’Ampezzo there are very strict roules for waste collection. Please follow the instructions below carefully:
1. Separate waste into the appropriate categories and put it in the relevant bags, which must then be sealed; it is not permitted to dispose of loose waste except paper, cardboard, glass and cans:
- Dry waste - plastic bag
- Food/organic waste - transparent biodegradable bag
- Paper, cardboard - without bag
- Plastic - blue bag
- Glass, cans - without bag
2. Take the waste to the small house located on the access road to the apartment. You will find some colored bins.
3. Place the waste in the appropriate bin, paying close attention.
Waste collection companies conduct frequent inspections. Incorrect dispose of garbage is subject to very high fines; any fine for non-compliant differentiation will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the registered credit card.
Electrical panel.
In the event of a power failure, first thing to do is to turn off all appliances that were in operation (washing machine, dishwasher, oven) and check the electrical panel located behind the door facing the stairs. Check that all switches are in the ON position (upwards); otherwise, pull them all up to the ON position.
If this procedure does not work, you need to act on the main electric meter that can be reached from outside the house: go down the wooden stairs, turn left and go down the small flight of stone stairs, turn left again until you reach the end of the corridor. The door that leads to the electricity meters is the wooden one on the right. The meter is the one with the name SPERTI. In this case as well, the switches should be flipped upwards.
